Our current key initiatives are:
- Building a network of contacts on the ground.
- Advocacy with western mining industry organizations and companies doing business in DRC to stand for and support change. Developing a plan to support traceability of minerals.
- Advocacy with international organizations and NGO's on strategies to end the violence in the East, and particularly the sexual crimes against humanity.
- Strategic networking with partners to develop accessible low cost internet and IT infrastructure in Eastern Congo.
- Awareness.

- Financial support for the development programs of CAFED in North Kivu, eastern DRC (the Collectif des Associations Feminines pour le Developpement) http://www.cafednordkivu.com/
- Financial support for the Ligue Solidarite Congolaise, (LSC), a grass roots organization in eastern DRC working on human rights efforts and assistance to those affected by the violence in the east.
